LEVEL 4 / POST 3 (WEEK 4): MOVIES (BEST MOVIE/BEST DIRECTOR/BEST GENRE).
Writing about a favorite movie or director is very difficult for me. I have never been able to choose one, because all the movies I have seen have been important to me. But, choosing one, I love Gaspar Noé's films, the use he has of time, photography and his stories. He is a director who produces a lot of discomfort and I think that is a talent. One of my favorite films by this director is Climax, where he tenses the body. Other directors that I like are Alejandro Jodorowsky, Pablo Larrain and Greta Gerwig. Other movies that I love are Scarface, Suspiria, LadyBird, The Fifth Element and Frances Ha. I like movies that can tell simple stories with very beautiful elements and also those that develop good stories that everyone can enjoy. I don't lock myself into one genre.
